Show Me the Light: VR Silent Disco
Show Me the Light is a musical journey through the paradox of human control inviting up to 20 people on an audio-visual journey.
Together, we have built cities, woven extensive networks, and brought ideas to life that were once unimaginable. But our hyperconnected world, once a triumph of human curiosity, has transformed into an overarching network spinning out of our control, where speed seems to matter more than direction. The digital revolution has brought us remarkable improvements, enriching our lives in countless ways and allowing unprecedented global connectivity and information flow. However, due to these technological advances, we also catch our attention being captured by a constant stream of stimuli. Information turns into noise; meaning dissolves in an endless flood of data. We run faster and faster, without questioning where we’re headed. Do we still remember the reason behind this relentless pace? If we could start all over, would we learn from our mistakes, or are we destined to follow the same destructive paths? Can humanity control its own progress, or are we trapped in the cycle of growth and exhaustion?
This immersive group experience poses an unsettling dilemma: Are we still in control of our own actions, or have we ignited a flame that slowly consumes us?
Currently in development, Show Me the Light is set to premiere in 2025.
